Kelly Guenther
President/Founder
Kelly Guenther is an Emmy-Award-winning television reporter and photographer with over 20 years of video experience. He founded Guenther Group, Inc. in 2001 after leaving KING-TV in Seattle, WA and has earned multiple Emmy, Aurora and Telly Awards and nominations for his global video work. Kelly also hosts a regular radio show and webcast for Health Talk Communications dealing with cancer issues and is a regular correspondent for the Seattle Channel.
Kelly lives in West Seattle with his wife, two young sons, loving dog and an ornery cat. When not shooting videos, he loves to sail, snowboard and do road bike events for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Troy Thomas
Vice President
Troy Thomas is an Emmy-Award-winning 20 year veteran of TV reporting, producing and newsroom management. He joined Guenther Group this year after working in four of the nation's Top-25 TV markets. Troy offers editorial experience from web content development, script writing, editing, hosting and anchoring to the leadership roles of project manager, executive producer, and news director.
Most recently, Troy served for close to 9 years leading the staff of Northwest Cable News, the 24-hour regional cable network for 6 states and more than 2.5 million cable homes based in Seattle. Troy ran the day-to-day newsroom operations, coordinating network production schedules involving five newsrooms and a bureau in Washington, DC.
Troy lives in Snohomish County with his wife and two little boys. His passions are family time, biking, digital photography and the study of history. |
